Since the dawn of time this blog has never had comments. At times I've been sorely tempted. But then sanity prevails and the ease of doing nothing takes over. It's not implementing comments that's hard - there are many many off-the-shelf solutions - it's the ongoing gardening to prevent spam and extreme views (and abuse).
And yet - it would be cool to have a dialog with you all. I wonder if there's an easy way to use Twitter or Mastodon as the commenting system? I'm already relaying links to blog posts there ... maybe if I had a link here that linked to replies there?
